A marking is drawn every 1/10 km in a straight foot path that measures 4/5 km long. How many markings are there on the foot path, including the one at the start?

Hi Aala! Sorry for the delay in the solution.
Total distance = 4/5km
1 interval = 1/10km
Total intervals = 4/5km / 1/10km = 8 intervals
Total markings = 8 + 1(at the start) = 9 markings (Ans)
